People all over the Western Bay of Plenty have had their houses and commercial properties built by us.

Miles Everton started the company as a one man band in 1985 but now has a staff of 17 people working with him: 15 carpenters and apprentices, a work manager, and a part-time office manager.

Together we undertake a wide range of construction projects.

Most of the time we build quality residential homes, and we're good at this. For instance, 40 times since the start of the Master Builders House of the Year Competition, in 1992, Everton Homes Ltd has won prizes. Twice we took First Prize at the national level, and once were awarded the national Second Prize.

Million dollar commercial properties don't daunt us. We completed the 16-unit Aquarius Motel complex, with its three-bedroom owner's residence, six weeks ahead of schedule, for example.

Over the years Miles has been heavily involved with the improvement of the national building industry. He's been a president and vice-president of the Registered Master Builders Federation at the local and regional level. Also, he's been a Master Builders rep on the Building and Construction Industry Training organization, and has personally trained around 10 apprentices who have become successful businessmen both here and abroad.

We have our office and commercial lock-up area in Tawa Street, here in Mount Maunganui, and are one of the top builders in this city.
